来年度の選手権シーンについての噂

匿名の競技プレイヤーより、Blizzardが来年予定している選手権シーンについてのタレコミがありました。タレコミを行った本人は名前を明かしておらず、信ぴょう性は高くありません。ただ、以下に挙げる情報と共に、海外の有名プレイヤーがこの件について歓談しているチャットの画像も一緒に送られてきており、また、一部説得力のある説明を行っていました。

その内容を紹介します。

• 16人が招待されたリーグを各地域（EU、America、APAC、China）で新設する。招待されるプレイヤーは競技性よりも個性を重視する。
• 16名のうち12名は配信者などの著名プレイヤーとなり、残りの4名が競技プレイヤーとなる。（人数は不正確である）
• ランク戦はもはや重視されず、ポイントの対象とならない。
• ポイントシステムは無くなる。HCT（選手権ツアー）はオープンカップ形式（緩い大会）に置き換えられる。
• 現在主流となっているBo5のフォーマットは廃止され、Bo3となる。
• Bo3は、1つのデッキを使ってサイドデッキを使用する形式になる可能性がある。この形式は2017年夏にtespa（海外の学生大会）で成功している実績があり、1ゲーム目、2ゲーム目で6枚の異なるカードを使用していた。
• 対戦時間が短くなることで、スイスラウンドの回数を増やしたり（よりカードゲーム特有の運用素が減る）、大会運営の負担減が予想される。
• ツアーストップの賞金が増える。ただし、それほど大きい額になるわけではなく、またポイントは付かない。
• マスターシステムで3つ星を獲得した選手はリーグに招待されるが、2つ星、1つ星の選手はそれを得られない。
• マスターシステムは無くなる。
• チームランキングシステムも無くなる。
• Blizzardはこの新しいシステムを先週公表する予定だった。

• 16 man invitational league in each region. more focused on personalities than competitive players.
• 12 streamer types and 4 competitive players suggested,(but those numbers aren’t for sure)
• ladder will not matter. No points.
• No points system, HCT will be replaced with open cup format of some sort.
• Blizzard will make a one deck Bo3 format prevalent. replacing traditional formats
• One main deck that you always queued in game 1, and then 2 “side decks” that could be up to 6 cards different than the main one which you could switch to in future games if you wanted to. 
• prize pool for tour stops increased, but still not high expected value, and they will not give anything like points anymore.
• 3 star star masters will get team league invites, but 1 and 2 star masters will not get what they were promised.
• masters program will be cancelled.
• team standings will be canceled.
